Steve Stockman is president of LA-based Custom Productions, and a producer, writer and director of over 200 commercials, web series, short films, music videos, and TV shows. He is also a partner in Right Side Blind Productions, a television development company partnership with iHeart Media. Steve’s projects for Custom include creating and Executive Producing season 3 of the hit show Brew Dogs for NBC/UNI’s new Esquire Network, Dogs of War on A&E, Discovery Channel’s hit series, The Devils Ride, and Creating, Executive Producing and directing $24/24 for Food Network.

He wrote, produced and directed the award-winning MGM feature film Two Weeks, starring Sally Field, Ben Chaplin, Tom Cavanagh, Julianne Nicholson, Glenn Howerton and Clea DuVall. 

His book, How to Shoot Video that Doesn’t Suck, has sold over 100,000 copies, is published in three languages, and is now in its sixth printing from Workman Publishing. He blogs about video at www.SteveStockman.com, speaks and consults on it, and tweets @stevestockman.

He is a life member of the Creative Education Foundation and on the faculty of their training institutes. He serves as a faculty member and Business Affairs Director of Summer Stars Camp for the Performing Arts, a non-profit summer program for disadvantaged youth.

He is past President of the Board of the Westside Waldorf School in Pacific Palisades, CA., and a graduate of Brown University in Providence, RI.
