As founder and president of Fuerst Consulting Corporation, Therese Fuerst is chief creative problem solver and strategist on behalf of her clients. Her career started in broadcasting, and since then has spanned across various sectors, including her most recent role as vice president of the Buffalo Niagara Partnership, the Buffalo Niagara region’s private sector-funded economic development organization and the regional chamber of commerce. Prior to joining the Partnership, Fuerst served as senior marketing manager of Uniland Development Company, the region’s largest real estate development company, where she spearhead a rebranding and repositioning effort for the 40-year-old firm and built community awareness about its assets. She has also held senior-level positions with HealthNow New York, parent company of BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York and BlueShield of Northeastern New York, Buffalo Niagara Enterprise, E-3 Communications, and the City of Buffalo. Fuerst holds a bachelor's in pre-law and communication studies from Canisius College, and a master's in public relations management from State University of New York College at Buffalo.
