Miriam Michael is an enthusiastic and spirited educator, coach and speaker. She is president of the Quality Exchange, a cognition and creativity consulting firm in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is a retired professor for American River College (Sacramento, California) and has held professor positions at Golden Gate University, University of San Francisco, Embryo-Riddle Aeronautical University, and California State University Sacramento. Michael is a retired United States Air Force Colonel. She contributed in political affairs, strategic planning, plans and programs, logistics, manpower and quality, education and training, transportation, safety, public affairs, and air traffic control. She initiated and led the innovative Reserve Command and internationally acclaimed Junior Officer Leadership Development Seminars (JOLDS) and the Transition Excellence process used to transition the 12,000 employees during the McClellan AFB base closure. She is currently working on a second doctorate in psychology and holds master’s degrees in human resource management, national security studies with emphasis in terrorism and budgetary process, international security studies with emphasis in information technology and warfare, and a doctorate in management.
