Lina Pugsley is the founder of Keeping Creativity Alive, an online resource that supports and inspires parents and educators to promote creativity at home and in schools. She attended her first CPSI conference as an associate creative director in digital marketing for one of Canada’s largest advertising agencies. Her first Springboard experience opened her mind to the world of deliberate creativity and possibility thinking, which set her on a quest to explore creative development and, more specifically, how to cultivate the capacities for creativity in children starting in the early years – starting at birth. Passionately curious, her research explores the relationship between parenting style and creativity in children. Pugsley holds a bachelor’s of fine arts, a master’s in creativity from the International Center for Studies in Creativity, and teaches creative thinking at Sheridan College, where she takes great joy in seeing her students experience the magic of creativity!
