Jacqueline Lloyd Smith worked as a licensed partner with the LEGO Group in Denmark, where she was trained, and then became a trainer for the company in the method of LEGO Serious Play. In 2007, she received the LEGO Serious Play methods Business Growth Award from the Play for Business Division. In 2009, Smith was appointed to the LEGO training board, and was a master trainer delivering facilitator training in LEGO Serious Play methods. She is an associate faculty member at Royal Roads University in the MBA program, and has taught at the University of Western Ontario for more than 10 years, and in the business department at Lakehead University. She has been a certified management consultant since 2009, and was nominated by her peers and became a fellow with the Royal Society of the Arts. She lives and plays with her family in Whistler, Canada.
