With 20 years of experience in advertising, Brian Kalina has devoted his professional career to generating big ideas, based on true human insights. As a creative director, he has produced award-winning work for globally recognized brands at agencies such as DDB New York and Ogilvy. He has also functioned as a strategic planning director, using his creative abilities to amplify strategic thinking processes, solving business issues, and implementing change. Kalina is a trained facilitator in Creative Problem Solving, and LEGO Serious Play, and regularly attends CPSI. He has successfully led hundreds of ideation sessions, guiding teams through the process to arrive at various outcomes, including positioning, competitive analysis and simulations, tactic and campaign creation, and team building. He is studying at the International Center for Studies in Creativity at SUNY-Buffalo State, delving deeper into a wide variety of facilitation and strategic thinking methodologies and creative theory, such as Six Thinking Hats, human-centered design, service design, business model generation, and many others.
