Bernie Murray is an associate professor in communication and design at Ryerson University. Currently, she is completing her doctoral degree in curriculum studies and teacher development from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. Her research focuses on creative thinking, jazz improvisation, and the scholarship of teaching and learning. Murray’s multidisciplinary background informs her approach to innovative areas of design and research, based on creators, processes, products, and presentation.
