Clackamas, OR United States
Louise learned italic handwriting as a high school freshman and has been using it ever since. She soon expanded into other classic alphabets and has even invented a few of her own. As an instructor of adult learners at Marylhurst University she wrote agendas, class guidelines, and main teaching points on flip charts, then laminated and hung in classrooms for easy referral. That also facilitated the visual learners.

Louise has taught workshops on “Fear of Flipcharts” for state conferences and other venues. When facilitating meetings, she has been known to provide mini-lessons when writing notes on whiteboards. “How do you do that?”

Louise is currently a creative strategist and senior mediator with Range Mediation and Consulting in the Portland metropolitan area. She is a qualified administrator of the MBTI, and Kirton Adaption-Innovation Inventory (KAI), and the author of "Mediating with Picasso: Relying on Your Inherent Creativity When You Need It Most." Her most recent book, near completion, is “In Cahoots: A Playbook for Creative Collaboration.”

A graduate of the International Center for Studies in Creativity, Louise has been attending CPSI for years and always looks forward to seeing old friends and making new ones.
