Jennifer Keilty-Friesen founded People Minded Business in 2004 when she realized that she could be of the greatest assistance to organizations by cross-pollinating ideas from one organization to the next and one sector to the next. She quickly learned that she was meant to work on projects, approaching each one with unbridled enthusiasm, and thoroughly enjoying every stage of the process. Prior to consulting, she held leadership and management positions in several community service organizations, where she focused on improving the quality of services by using a combination of quality tools alongside creative and innovative approaches. Through this work, she learned to capitalize on the close connection between innovation, creativity and quality. The saying, “today’s innovation is tomorrow" guides her work. She completed her master's in public health in Sydney, Australia, and holds the designation of Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence. Anytime she is outdoors, preferably on a bike, she is happy.
